I started out as a flash designer and moved into html from there. That may seem an odd way round but I guess it has a lot to do with my age. Flash content was the thing to be doing when I started out, It looked cool and I wanted in. It gave me the drive to learn how the web worked. I haven’t made a flash site in maybe 3 years now. The majority of the work I do now is on bespoke WordPress themes.

Alongside my day job which focuses exclusively on the automotive industry, I have been fortunate enough to work on projects for diverse brands ranging from the NHS to GUCCI. It’s great to work for house hold names and big brands, but the ‘free rein’ feeling I get when working with small independent companies is hard to beat.

I would say Im a keen photographer rather than a good one! In truth I spend most my time in awe of other people’s photographs rather than my own. I have three camera’s at the moment – a trusty Canon Kiss DSLR, a Diana F+ 120mm and a Canon AV-1 35mm that is the same age as me! I just like mucking about with them really. Maybe one day I’ll take it all a bit more seriously…

Had a little skulk around a demolition site the other day near the Icknield Port Loop in Birmingham.

It’s a massive area of industry that is gradually being knocked down for re-development… I noticed a hole in the fence on Tuesday so snuck in with my canon 35mm slr…

Purely by chance today I was mooching around in Urban Outfitters in Birmingham looking for a couple of new interesting books, when a local band starts up (failed to catch who they were and being very British didn’t ask) and before I knew it I had shot a roll of film.
