I would say Im a keen photographer rather than a good one! In truth I spend most my time in awe of other people’s photographs rather than my own. I have three camera’s at the moment – a trusty Canon Kiss DSLR, a Diana F+ 120mm and a Canon AV-1 35mm that is the same age as me! I just like mucking about with them really. Maybe one day I’ll take it all a bit more seriously…

Had a little skulk around a demolition site the other day near the Icknield Port Loop in Birmingham.
It’s a massive area of industry that is gradually being knocked down for re-development… I noticed a hole in the fence on Tuesday so snuck in with my canon 35mm slr…

Purely by chance today I was mooching around in Urban Outfitters in Birmingham looking for a couple of new interesting books, when a local band starts up (failed to catch who they were and being very British didn’t ask) and before I knew it I had shot a roll of film.

I was just mucking about tonight, taking a few pictures of the little dude that lives with me, whipped off my specs and before I knew it I had a couple of pretty cool images…

a few shots around my home town… the film somehow* got light damaged. So although they look distinctly lomo, they were in fact all shot with my canon Av-1 35mm SLR
*someone (ok, me) opened up the camera without rewinding first…
I liked that last image a lot so I went back and re-shot from a different angle.
